Easy Guitar Lessons – What to Look For in Beginner Guitar Lessons

Easy Guitar Lessons – What to Look For in Beginner Guitar Lessons

Many people who have tried to learn guitar have failed miserably. It is unfortunate because most of these people actually have the motivation and the time to put into learning. They are just simply instructed the wrong way. Most cases of failure occur because people are looking for the easy way to learn from their friends. This is not the best way to go in most cases because your friends will usually just get frustrated.

What I mean by this is they usually start playing a song while you are sitting there trying to figure out if your fingers are in the right place for the g chord they just quickly showed you. Your friend showing off in front of you is not an efficient way to have beginner guitar lessons. It’s just an opinion, and I know him showing off in front of you may be good motivation for you to get better then him but it’s not a good way to learn. In order for you to get easy guitar lessons which will enable you to learn how and what you want to learn you must have professional help.

Being a guitar instructor myself I know how hard it is to learn how to play guitar because I have seen the struggles of my students throughout the years. Along with many other attributes you need to learn guitar one of the top ones are to stay motivated and focused on your goals. Having someone like me around to teach you would be great if I were there to help you every hour of the day. Too bad myself and other guitar instructors are not available at the times you are.

Which brings me to my next point. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a guitar instructor be available for you at all times of the day?

Well of course it would, which is why I did some research on different programs you can buy to teach you easy guitar lessons. Throughout my research I found a bunch of products I would not recommend and I would prefer not to name any names. I did however come across one program in particular called Jamorama which I was thoroughly impressed with for their complete easy guitar lessons online.

They not only had 24/7 support but they have wonderful interactive videos that really show you how to play a guitar with no problem. The good thing about these professional rendered videos are that they go at a good pace for you to learn with – and of course you can pause them if the information is going too fast for you.

Along with these videos, they include two free guitar teaching computer games which teach you things no normal guitar teacher can teach you in an hour lesson… not even me.

Usually the guides which are included in the beginner guitar lessons are boring, but the one in Jamorama is not. All 252 pages and 44 chapters of lessons are packed with information for your use at any convenient time for your easy guitar lessons online.

Jamorama is one of the most popular courses on the net today. The course has been one of the best ways to learn to play the guitar from your own home and is reasonable price for all that you get with the course. This online course starts you at (I do not know where my fingers go) beginner to oh my god how did I get so good. Ben Edwards is the creator of the course and he has put together a great entry level guitar lessons with easy to use instructions. They do have a downloadable lessons as well as a hard copy that they can ship to you. With the price difference, I recommend that you purchase the downloadable version.

This is a full course on how to play from the beginning to advanced play. Before you spend all your time searching for the best computer guitar lessons on your own, I suggest that you try this course and see if it has what you are looking for. This course has a 60 day money back guarantee so if you do not like it you can return it with no questions at

Some Techniques to Beginners Guitar

Some Techniques to Beginners Guitar

As a new guitar player, do you find yourself eager to learn country guitar? Are you getting nowhere in your practice sessions? I was once a beginner and I know how you may feel.

When I started out, I would learn a few things and practice them for awhile. Inevitably, everything the teacher taught me would be forgotten the very next day. I refused to give up so I had to learn what I was doing wrong.

As a new guitar player, do you find yourself eager to learn country guitar? Have you been trying to play your guitar? This can be a very frustrating feeling. I hope to help you achieve your goals with my country guitar lessons.

Get to know the classic country guitar musicians. You should be taking some time out of your day to listen to the music of the legends. Get to know the music of Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and others. Do more than just listening. Be sure to check out youtube for videos and tutorials of people playing. It is much easier to learn by videos than by reading a webpage.

Play the songs. I want you to attempt to play the songs even if you need to look up the chords and tabs. I mean the chord structure first, not so much the advanced techniques. Pick a song that sounds relatively easy and learn it. You might also look for an online country guitar lesson that has a backing track you can jam to. After playing through the song completely, this will excite you to continue your guitar learning.

The 3rd tip is the next most important part to playing: Play every day. When you practice, make sure that you continue to develop the muscles in your fingers in order to speed up and play longer. It’s like any other body part. Spend 10 minutes every day doing muscle building exercises. There are plenty of finger building exercises out there that you can do to develop your hands.

Last but not least, grab your guitar and play with some other people. Playing with other musicians is a very important part of improving in country guitar. The only way to do this is well by doing it. Grab a couple of buddies, have them learn the song you learned in step 1 and jam it in your garage or living room. Don’t feel bad if you make a mistake; that’s why musician’s practice.

I hope you enjoyed these 4 tips. Continue to apply what I have taught and you will be better before you know it.

Three Reasons You Should Learn to Play Guitar

Three Reasons You Should Learn to Play Guitar

Guitar is one of the most popular instruments that people study today.  Many kids want to learn guitar from the moment they first see a rock band on TV playing a song.  They think not only does it look cool, but it looks fun.  But in addition to being “cool” and “fun,” there are many reasons to learn to play guitar.

Learning music in general has been shown in studies to both lead to a higher aptitude in mathematics in also pattern recognition.  The basis for rhythm is fractional math, and music allows one to assimilate this concept on a semi-subconscious level.

Learning to read music will have a carryover to any other instrument that is studied in the future, especially if the new instrument reads treble clef music like guitar does.  But aside from clef changes, reading music is reading music: half notes are always half notes, quarter notes are always quarter notes, etc.

Learning music increases one’s appreciation of music.  People who have formally studied music tend to enjoy listening to more complex and better-composed music than people who have never studied music.  This is one example of how music appreciation can be increased by studying an instrument.

Of course, then there are the other reasons, such as impressing your friends, getting jobs playing gigs, and rocking out along with your favorite CDs. For anyone who wishes to learn to play guitar, there are a variety of ways to learn, from live guitar teachers to guitar lessons for beginners available on DVD.

Beginners Guitar Lessons – Online Guitar Tuition

Beginners Guitar Lessons – Online Guitar Tuition

It’s difficult for many of us to stand up in front of a group and do something we’re not at ease with, such as playing the guitar. Particularly for those that are novices. The experience can be completely traumatizing. The best place to start looking for beginners guitar lessons is online. Online guitar tuition is a popular way to learn the guitar.

You don’t have to be concerned about what other people are going to think of your blunders, if you make any. And you can move through the lessons as fast or as slow as you want. There is no waiting for others in the class to complete the identical task.

There is online guitar tuition that is expressly intended for the beginner, yet they still use real music and professional teachers to be sure that the learning process goes as smooth as possible. Just think, would you rather be taking guitar lessons from an amateur, or the person that played with real rock bands?

Every musician had to begin somewhere, so the more you practice and the better the teacher you have, the better off you’re going to be!  One of the advantages of online guitar tuition is that you get video tools to make playing more pleasurable. Rather than fumbling around for hours trying to figure out how to play something, you can watch a video where the instructor breaks it down one step at a time.

In time and with enough practice you’ll be playing songs with no trouble at all. For beginners, guitar lessons can be difficult. The most effective way to make it easier on yourself, is to select a program that was created for beginners and yet can still show you how to play like you’ve been doing it for years.

It’s never too late to learn to play guitar

It’s never too late to learn to play guitar

No time is a bad time to start learning a new instrument, and the guitar is no different. Age doesnâ??t really matter if you have a positive attitude, and are willing to start at the starting. Studies have shown that biological age is hardly the biggest barrier for adults starting out learning an instrument â?? a poor attitude, impatience, or excessive self-consciousness is. Itâ??s true that the mature brain will find it harder to learn a new skill as complex as playing an instrument, but nothing is too hard if you are passionate about it! We recommend that you tie up with a teacher â?? maybe schedule private lessons if you are uncomfortable with group classes. Also, the vast resource of the Internet can help you in self-study to the extent you choose. As an adult, youâ??re less likely to be pushed to practice, so youâ??ll have to motivate yourself to practice regularly. Remember â?? donâ??t be afraid of making mistakes â?? they are important parts of your learning and growth. Just pick up your guitar with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn, and youâ??ll do fine! We hope these tips help you bust myths about it being â??too lateâ? to learn guitar!

Itâ??s never too late to learn to play guitar

Been wanting to play that guitar for years, but never got a chance? Or perhaps youâ??ve just recently taken a fancy for it, but think youâ??re â??over the hillâ?, and too old to startâ?¦

We think not.

Believe us, youâ??re never too old to start learning guitar â?? or any other instrument, for that matter. As weâ??ve said before, guitar is fun â?? and easy, if youâ??re willing to put in some solid time. It doesnâ??t matter if youâ??re 15 or 50; anyone can become a good guitarist if he/she puts in some good practice and is really passionate about the instrument.

The â??You canâ??t teach an old dog new tricksâ? myth can be an easy way for people to tell you itâ??s too late to start playing guitar â?? but thatâ??s just what this saying is, a myth! With a positive attitude, you can overcome the (seemingly huge) â??barrierâ? of age.

The truth is, age is mostly in your head.

Itâ??s a fact that â??starting earlyâ? or â??inborn talentâ? arenâ??t important factors in being a good musician – practice is. And this is within your control, no matter how old you are. However, as an adult, thereâ??re likely to be fewer people to push you to practice, so that definitely puts the onus on you.

You can do things to make yourself comfortable with being a beginner. If youâ??re uncomfortable with being in a big class where everyone else is much younger than you, arrange for private lessons. Also, the Internet makes a lot of things easier for you â?? the immediacy and convenience it offers can make guitar self-study a lot easier (we do recommend that beginners get a teacher, though).

Or maybe youâ??re worried that â??youâ??re set in your waysâ? and as an adult, will be a slower learner than you would have been as a wee 5- or 6- year old.

Youâ??re right, partially.

Itâ??s true that itâ??s harder for the mature brain to learn a new instrument â?? but studies show that the biggest hurdles for adults typically are negative attitudes and impatience. Avoid these two, and youâ??ll have a fulfilling experience starting out with the <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.torrins.com/”>Jazz Guitar Lesson</a>. A final tip – donâ??t be afraid to fail. Remember, as a beginner, you will make mistakes, and those are the best way to grow!

Keep these tips in mind as you start out playing guitar, and youâ??ll be sure to have fun. Good luck!

Acoustic Beginner Guitars

Acoustic Beginner Guitars

Choosing acoustic beginner guitars is a major task for people new to guitar playing. One of the common issues novice acoustic guitar players have is the question of whether what they see as lack of progress is a natural part of learning to play the guitar, a fault with the way they play or there is something wrong with their new guitar. So let’s have a look at some matters you need to consider as a beginner guitar buyer.

When you go looking for your first acoustic guitar let the brands you see be a rough guide only. Go to as many music stores as possible and try out as many guitars as possible. If you are a total raw beginner, take a guitar playing friend with you and get them to play the guitars and pass on their opinion to you.

Although you should buy the best guitar your budget can stretch to, it is a good idea not to spend too much money on your very first acoustic beginner guitar. At least, not until you have had about six months of practice. Once you have had some experience of what it’s like to learn to change chords, and have seen whether or not you can apply yourself to a daily practice routine, then you can think about spending money on a better quality acoustic guitar.

There is a school of thought amongst acoustic guitar players that because nylon strings are kinder to your hands when you first start playing, it is better to buy a nylon string guitar first and switch to a steel string, if that is what you prefer, after your finger tips have grown callouses. It is true that steel strings can slice your fingers and it takes some time away from the guitar to let them heal, but at the same time, if you are faced with the choice between a decent steel string guitar and an unplayable piece of crap with nylon strings, then take the steel string, and just be careful not to drag your left hand fingers along the strings.

Without going into too much detail about the pros and cons of various brands and model, here’s a few decent guitars that you could look out for at your local music store or on ebay: Takamine, Epiphone, Alvarez, Yamaha, Ibanez. These are all good quality guitars that will last you through your initial stage as a beginner guitar player plus a few years neglected under the bed. Even though you can buy good guitars online, they could suffer from being shipped from one country to another, plus buying from a store or through local classifieds means you can see what you are buying.
