Step 2: Cup the other hand Hold it so the numbers are over the holes as you face it, low notes on the left, high ones on the right. Cup the hand holding the harmonica with your other hand, creating a chamber to trap and release volume. Tip: Slap the harmonica against your leg to knock out saliva. Step 3: Loosen up Slacken your shoulders and neck to get ready. Lick the mouthpiece to make sure you can slide it across your lips. Move the harmonica, not your head, when you play. Step 4: Start playing Move the harmonica further into your mouth. The sound comes from your breath going …

Hey @daverave2204 and @extrasum I have a tutorial on “solo notes” that available in the “how to play the harmonica” playlist on my page. However it is 6+ min long, and one of only a few videos I decided to make semi-private, so it is rental, so only people willing to pay .99c can see it… I think I go over that topic a little bit in some other videos,? but check out that one if you want more detail..

Hi, Really enjoyed this tutorial, it’s great, the only problem is trying to blow into one hole at a time, what technique do you (or anyone else) use? really struggling because when i? do it the notes mix up and it doesn’t sound as crisp as this, any help would be appreciated

But this is in SECOND POSITION?? But you do not start on drawing on the second hole. Why? The draw on hole 2 are the same as blow on the third. Would it not be practical to teach the real way of drawing on 2 instead of blowing third? I am not trying to correct, but trying to learn. What is the deal?
