@allieomusic Aw, thank you!!!
7mariemusic :
I play it with a capo on the 2nd fret and no barre chords!!

@sarahkatz95 Place your index finger over the bottom 5 stings on the 4th fret and then place your ring finger on the 3rd string down on the 6th fret and your pinky finger on the 4th string down on the 6th fret. Does this make sense?
sarahkatz95 :
can you explain the fingering of c#m please?
michellesings89 :
@BlackRose2251 You’re totally right! I figured that out a few months back when I was playing around with it and I started singing that song! I LOVE that song!!!
BlackRose2251 :
That’s the same patterns, just different strumming, for My Heart by Paramore excluding the G chord. I was messing around with the chords while playing that song and started thinking “wow that sounds like Dear John!” and then went on Youtube to look it up. All the other videos have capos, but I play it this way. I kinda improvise with the bar chords and just don’t play the notes that are supposed to be barred cause it’s hard for me to bar with my fingers. It sounds the same either way.

@UnofficiallyAlice1 The more I practiced, the easier it got. You just have to give it time, effort, and have a love for it! You’ll get it! Don’t give up!
UnofficiallyAlice1 :
@michellesings89 ok so i started taking guitar lessons last week (ive had alittle bit of experience with past lessons tht didnt work out) but i am already starting to feel like im never going to be able to strum correctly. i just cant get the hang of it!! ive tried all different patterns but its so complicated. did u feel this way when u started playing guitar? like did u have trouble? i just need to know cuz im already starting to feel hopeless… does it come easier as i take more lessons?
michellesings89 :
@AlanFanJackson If that works for you, then perfect! I’m so glad that you can play it now! Thanks!
AlanFanJackson :
I do it like E chord – D U D U D U D U D U D U D D D. Asus2 – The same way ^^ I don’t know, but I think it sounds nicer : ) Great turtorial, I already knew how to play it x)
ladycatsbv :
what’s the strumming pattern?
michellesings89 :
@ChristySings13 You strum all the strings except for the top low E string.
ChristySings13 :
