Power Chord Riff 3 (easy chord lesson – Sabbath- Metallica – classic metal)
Discover Guitar Online’s Power chord riff series is designed to give practice material for those learning to play power chords. All riffs consist of only power chords and range from very easy to slightly challenging. Enjoy playing these riffs as you develop your skills! www.discoverguitaronline.com
Download the tab and Jam track for this lesson for free at www.activemelody.com – In this lesson I show you how to play a Bo Diddley style rhythm guitar part (with a few added twists). This is very similar to the rhythm Bo Diddley played in the song, “Who Do You Love?”

@nashicobresciani

nashicobresciani :
@DiscoverGuitarOnline hahaha…………..sorry, just liked it a bit to much but ill build idea from it then, that sound cool?
DiscoverGuitarOnline :
@nashicobresciani
Well, you can definitely build something from the idea, but obviously you want to take it to the point where it’s truly your own.
nashicobresciani :
@DiscoverGuitarOnline really we can!!!!!!!!!!!!! cause id like to use piece of it and make a song with other chords and some solos, would that be alright?
Ibik :
what amp are you using? i love your tone
FiskfejS :
@DiscoverGuitarOnline Haha alright.
Well it was cool anyway, it sounded pretty Sabbath too, except their songs are usually a little slower. So Metallica/Sabbath is pretty accurate I’d say.
DiscoverGuitarOnline :
@FiskfejS
Thanks, I haven’t heard it but am not surprised. It’s meant to have a familiar sound. I was thinking old Sabbath mixed with Metallica.
FiskfejS :
The riff is pretty close to the Iggy Pop song on Slash’s album.
DiscoverGuitarOnline :
@yourdayga
Thanks! of-course you can expand on them and create your own thing.
TargetHHH101 :
The slowed down 1 would be a really cool breakdown
