I’ve owned a guitar for years but only picked it up sporadically from time to time, and always got frustrated thinking I was particularly bad or something, thanks for the kick!

just the other day i tried to learn time of your life by green day and i couldnt lol!! and i got frustrated but its all good i can play some of swing life away by rise agaisnt which is my favorite band so thats going to keep me motivated for a longgggg time lol i actually think you helped me play swing life away?

this is by far the best lesson- that many other guitar tutorials don’t give. last year i was at a novice stage, i got so incredibly frustrated and for a whole year i didn’t touch my guitar- until last week. if only i knew what i know now.

you need to first work on chords changes, once oyu can change chords quickly then practice pracitce practice is all that will hlep you pick faster

nice~! I used to have a problem on how to hold the strings because my fingers just wont do it. It takes me a long time to get used to it but i am now. it was frustrating but now my problem is remembering the whole song and picking..how can improve on my picking? i wannabe able to pick faster.

You are a great teacher and very encouraging. I do this because I don’t know how to play anything! LoL. I just work on my few little chords that I know, Which is only like 4 But I play them over again and try to work on them. I appreciate this video because it is uplifting, So I Thank You!

great lesson i need this lesson b/c i have been playing for a 2 good solid years and its great i love guitar but recently my schedule has been terrible!
