Green Day – Redundant(Cover)
Hey guys and girls! Welcome to my cover of Redundant by Green Day. This song is in my Top 5 Green Day songs and this is a cover i’ve been wanting to do for a long period of time. This song is one of the more darker themed Green Day songs, but it’s so emotional that it got stuck in my head and has never left it since the first time I heard it! In case you’re wondering, I’ve been learning guitar for 7 full years(by the end of this year, I’ll be at 8)and have taught myself how to sing over about 4 years. I do also play drums, but my videos will mainly showcase me playing guitar and singing. @MitchTheGuitarKid Excellent. Here’s a thought for you to consider some time : you’ll find your melody in the words if you heighten their inflection. The surest way to set a lyric to music so that it has strength is to simply set it as you’d speak it – but exaggerate the inflection.

In terms of one of my songs, i’ve got the lyrics complete. I just have to fine tune them so they make sense and I also have to write the guitar line.

Why don’t you seek out a singing teacher to fine tune your vocals just that little bit more…..
