Steve Vai – Jemini Distortion Pedal Demo (High Quality)

You’re stomping all over my brilliant idea, but that’s OK, you’re supposed to. The goal was to create a schizophrenic type distortion pedal that allows you to have two different settings with two different sounding distortion pedals, all wrapped up in a psyco-delic bullet proof package. Now you can get your dirty little groove on in public… legally. Stomp on! – Steve For more info on the Jemini visit: www.ibanez.com Visit the official Steve Vai website at www.vai.com

rickyjshiznit :

@xGrinder07x press 6… headbangin

rickyjshiznit :

@nikos1995patra its improvised so i doubt theres a tab. not to mention hes usign the low b so you cant play it exactly how he does without a 7 string.

rickyjshiznit :

the universe hes using on the left is actually burnt to look like the strat that jimi hendrix burnt. he used it in the for the love of god music video (hence “for the love of god” written on the headstock)

rickyjshiznit :

@sanobar1000 you should learn how to turn off caps lock first.

zAzNzO :

while the pedal may be freaking awesome Im pretty sure it was mostly just Steve Vai being godly lol :0

I came here to hear a tone demo, but I ended up being distracted by how fluid and amazing your playing is.

I’m also curious how those frets play. I had heard that you were having all your necks retailored to have them, and didn’t notice when this video was first put out. I’m not sure if you handle the youtube, or if someone else does, but how do those frets feel?

xGrinder07x :

@shahmee96 no the other one was me
