Hey Eric, not commented for a while as normally i pick it all up no problem, however at around 7.24 on the video, you explaining the chorus as C Em D…repeated, then you say Cm Em D, but think you still play a regular C chord. Just want to play it right… i assume it is a regular C. Great work , big fan of your site!

@KungKalo Most of John Mayer is really tough so its hard to simplify but just keep practicing and play it the right way.

@yourguitarsage I see the band in this video v=M2czFGyMipY at 0:53, they play the intro with D but instead of remove the 2nd finger of the 1st chord like you do (and i like how it sounds, but), they remove the 1st finger of the 3rd chord. you can see by yourself. Anyways thanks for the explanation!

Dude thanks so much for the lessons and the encouragement, you are definitely imparting a plethora of knowledge onto us. I even caved and bought your cord book. Could you or anyone reading couple the strumming of the intro with D. I have the pattern down but cant seem to follow the pattern of when to change between the two notes.
