Ukulele lesson I’m Yours by Jason Mraz – uke Lessons for Beginners songs covers chords
Go to yourukesage.com to find out how to get a chart to this song and 100s of other songs!!! This ukulele lesson vid shows you how to play I’m Yours by Jason Mraz . It shows you the chords, strumming technique and style. Check out yourukesage.com for info on my online instructional resources about charts, chords, strumming and the techniques that I use here in my videos.. For more uke lessons, see my other free tutorials. For original and cover music by me, Erich, go to www.myspace.com . Since I’m so busy making new video tutorial lessons all the time and teaching guitar and ukulele, I probably won’t have time to answer individual questions regarding ukulele. Other videos cover beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. Also, visit me on YouTube at channel yourguitarsage for guitar lessons and Erich Andreas for my personal music. I teach rock, blues, country and just about any other style. If you can’t find your answer from the resources at the website above, keep digging into my vids, and I’m sure you will find your answer. Keep practicing!!!

As beginners, we found playing with the capo a little clunky up 4 frets, but we also like to play along with the original Jason Mraz recording which you can’t do if you play in C as shown in the 2nd half of the tutorial. My 12 year old son, after playing a stringed instrument for all of 2 days, suggested tuning the uke down a half step! As a many year guitar hack I was humiliated. You can play the easier C, G, Am, F, progression and play along to the record. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the response .. and so fast too. Yep, it has seemed to me that the brain just adjusts to the different instrument (guitar/ukulele) much as you say like a second language .. amazing actually.
I found the old video you did with your cat “Chupie” … it was on your “Free Falling” tutorial .. the cat was your co-star.
Keep up the great work !

You are the best … many of the others are good too … as tutors .. but you are the best …. say, where is the black cat .. that made you famous in that one tutorial ??
Ohh, and question .. I am a six string guitar player for decades, who added a ukulele to my game about a year ago .. question .. do you think the different fingering throws one off from one instrument to the other .. or is it a non-issue ?

@TnAFilms74 My favorite is Lanika, just got one the other day. There some of them are pricey, but there are one or two that are under $100 that are good.

Ukelele’s are about 30 quid in my local music shop (specialising in guitars etc., so I trust ‘em) So, me thinks I shall go buy one! Haha! When I have the money…I bought a hat with the stuff I had! Billabong, so it was to be expensive!

I mean no insult to the accordian. My dad was a professional accordionist and it is quite a complex instrument!
yourukesage :
@katzenratz HAHA! I LOVE the accordian. It was actually the first instrument I picked up. But I suck at it now because I don’t practice it. I DID just get a melodica though and I LOVE that thing yourmelodicasage all the way!
