@V4mPiRezZZ the reason you down tune your E string is because that is how he wrote it you douche. there is no way you can be playing it properly if you haven’t down tuned to D as there is an open d after playing the octave on the 12th fret.

There is absolutely no reason to turn your E string into a D! I always played that normally and I have to say that turning E to D makes it more difficult for you to play! You really don’t need to do that man! Why make your life difficult when it can be easy?

@NumberX92 I pretty sure some if not most of the riffs and/or song ideas are written on piano first. Personally I didn’t really know about Muse, but some friends of mine I play with live and die by them so I have to learn some Muse songs to play with them Haven’t looked into if I’m right or not that’s just the way it feels to me when playing them.

@ImCalHi If I think of Stockholm Syndrome, New Born, Bliss, Hyper Music etc.. these songs are the first songs I’ve learned on guitar. I said simple, because Muse’s not too hard to play compared to other bands.
