Learn new scales
Instead of playing your favorite scale learn new scales and modes or even exotic scales. Don’t limit yourself into a same old scale pattern and don’t stick yourself into a single box, try to connect the notes into three to four octaves and it should be learn on all keys. You can also try a single string scale, two string scales, or three string scale run up and down the neck.
Expanding the scales
A minor pentatonic â?? everybody loves this scale, expanding this scale makes it more room for your playing. After you master this try to shift into another key let say in B and so on.
