Your videos really opened up my eyes and eliminated so many mental blocks…Thanks so much.
bpguitarist7 :
Same here, you don’t need to know any of this to actually be able to play. Plus you develop your own “sound” alot faster.
blayze101 :
@bpguitarist7 Dude if you actually fully understood what a scale is you would know what keys are lol.
MrBimpsta :
what kind of guitar is that?
722deano :
its one hell of an uphill struggle at first though haha!
722deano :
play both… theres no rules
playing more than one instrument mean you gotta know thoery tho so you get better at both a little faster. i only really know guitar but im starting to get to grips with keyboards too now
dnielgeo :
by learning to them my friend, the best analogy is that your family would not have the same voices, therefore you will be able to know who calls you even if you are not looking. the same principle apply to the notes D, G, etc… by familiarizing how they sound, you will be able to know how to duplicate them in an instrument like guitar or a keyboard.
this is also true on how musicians are able to tune their guitar by ears.
AHMADF93 :
How the hell should i know the notes? D,G etc,…?
reallytightpants :
I play both im self taught on all the instruments i play they are both great, Dont strap yourself to one instrument im watching this though cause im not gonna lie i can shred and play like crazy and play some great shit but i have not to great musical theory so yeah
krimsonkorspe :
You should play what ever your heart tells you to play
bpguitarist7 :
Scales are easy bro, keys and all that shit are what I don’t understand. A scale is just a bunch of notes, get rusty cooley’s rockhouse video: Fretboard Autopsy.
