@AwfulVision haha and how the times have changed. american strat at like $1k. american ’63 jazz reissue at over $2k now I believe

ragnatoad :

@straightupwv Yeah, it is. But the Jaguar and Mustang are shorter (24″). When Lee says ‘longer scale’ he means longer than the Jaguar, I assume.

straightupwv :

Isn’t the scale of a Jazzmaster the same as a Strat? A Strat’s scale is 25.5″. I always thought the Jazzmaster was the same.

sketchytunes :

i wish i had money

corpsemunger :

@advilbrewer
I don’t believe it is nothing like the jazzmaster….
Same body, same neck, same wood, same trem, mostly everything is the same except for a few electronics that have been changed. People still call EVH’s guitars strats, don’t they?

MWRiff :

Why wouldnt you play it?? I dont understand?

vsevilcircles :

@overoath123 There is. Its called the Jagmaster. Cost me $250 & its my second most used guitar. Comes with sick factory SD humbuckers. highly recommended

@ixis99 i would like to know how you find this man pompus. you should not comment on anymore videos to do with music except costello etc. total primary school pun failiure with the “jizzmaster” also.

TheDallyLama :

ixis99 :

LAMF1968 :

Dude, Whatever.

jeleopard :

@AwfulVision

My dad got a Jazzmaster for 300 dollars back in the 70s. One of the legit 60s ones. It’s sexy.

advilbrewer :

Sonic Youth had all kinds of guitars, the Tele was his initial favourite wasn’t it?

AwfulVision :

@advilbrewer Sonic Youth and a lot of 80′s alt. rockers used Jazzmasters, Jaguars, etc. because they were super cheap in pawn shops (because no one wanted them in the Les Paul/Stratocaster dominated market at the time). Not because they “look cool”.

J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. even said he got a Jazzmaster because it was what he could afford, rather than a Strat which he couldn’t.
