RT101894 :

I spy a Gibson in the backround.

COMAmachine :

@ILoveMusic91961 It’s a capo; you can pick it up at a music store… one that sells guitars/instruments. You can even order them online or even go to a Guitar Center.

ILoveMusic91961 :

What is that thing called that you have on the 4th fret and where can you get one?

tlshaggy711 :

did she really write this song for you?

Ukigumodreemer :

PLEASE!! answer this ONE question for me, it’s the only part I’m uncertain with.

At 2:54, when you messed up, you were playing the “G” chord for the lyrics “I think I’m fallin’ for you” but there is one more line before the Chorus ends, which is “I’m fallin’ for you”. What chord do I play for that line? A “G” chord as well? If yes, is the strumming the same?

KKLULTCHH :

or believe by stanid pleasssssssssseeeeeeeeeee

KKLULTCHH :

snake930 :

Awesome ! did you speak french ?? For me, For moi ? Cool ! thank you by the way

crazy760azn :

can someone tell me the strumming pattern…..haa

tattoogurl21 :

you are so funny and so adorable, i love watching your tutorials! xxx

Ukigumodreemer :

How many finger are you using for the C/E chord? You said lift up the third finger. But when you play the progression it seems like you are playing a normal C chord instead of a C/E chord. (Are you muting the 5th sting or just putting it above the string?)

Also, for the “push” at 11:54, you strum up at the A minor chord, but then at 13:11, you strum down. My question is, are these the same part or different part of the song?

PS: you promise to get your cut hair, if I buy the ebook? xD

BinnyBug :

@TheBeanerNinja depends where you situated I guess.. technically $10 but im in Australia so with the dollar exchange and that it was like $11.25 or something.. lol so not a lot and well worth it :)

TheBeanerNinja :

rsgarza1968 :

TheBeanerNinja :

JustinSchulz0806 :

Maybe Ill have money for one… Huh?! I love that..

4everJRB4 :

I didnt know your name is Eric

CourtneyM092 :

how do you get your guitar to sounds amaing. what kind of guitar is it?

BassLessonsOnline :

You don’t need to, but it will serve you well.
George

monsterhunter900 :

so do i need to learn notes?

BassLessonsOnline :

Chords are usually not played on bass. It is important for a bass player, however, to know the notes contained in all chords. Then we can make up our own bass lines and riffs based on those notes.
George

monsterhunter900 :

hey what do you mean by g chords c chords you never show a video of how to do thos?

BassLessonsOnline :

Hello and thanks for your request and comment.
I attempt to explain and demonstrate clearly enough so that tab is not required. I suggest you look and listen again, then write your own tab – although you probably won’t need to ;-)
George

xMegadethFan :

Great lessons!! can i have a tab including those chords plz? :) thank you!

BassLessonsOnline :

Excellent – thanks for commenting!

George

ahitinsweden :

I have just started playing bass and have so far found your videos very helpful. So, thanks for making them. :D

BassLessonsOnline :

I’m happy that my system works for you.

Thanks for your appreciation and kind comments.

George

HonouredAssassin :

Thank you so much, for taking the time to teach these lesson in the simplest form! I have learned so much from watching your videos. You make everything easy to understand. Well done for the great work, thanks!

BassLessonsOnline :

Triad notes are the same for all pitched instruments. If a bass is tuned “differently” the fingering will be different to the standard.

George

themonster75 :

great! i found this really helpful. But i have a theory: do triads apply to basses that are in differant tunings such ad drop d or drop c? are there a differant methods for triads if this was the case?
Kind regards.

BassLessonsOnline :

The only real way to distinguish notes is to sing or hum them. With bass notes, you will often have to hum an octave higher than the pitch you hear.

I’m glad you are off to a good start :)

Bass of Luck!
George

underprog :

i have a problem distinguishing different notes…
yet this is a good start…

BassLessonsOnline :

Thank you. Yes, it can be very useful to know about chord construction. It helps us make better bass lines … sometimes :)

George

ClaireTheBassist :

hey thanks, even thoug i’ve been playing for 4 years, this really helps :D Thanks a whole bunch

BassLessonsOnline :

I’m glad you could benefit.
Thanks.

George

NameTakenAway :

Thanks A LOT, GEORGE!

BassLessonsOnline :

Thanks for “being found”. I’m happy to see that You Tube occasionally features my videos.

George

BassLessonsOnline :

Thank you. This type of bass (Music Man style) has a certain clarity.

It is a very cheap bass, so it just goes to show that the sound is in our hands.

George

captainkirk414 :

nice tone man.

BassLessonsOnline :

Hello and thanks for checking in. Good luck with your bass progress!

George

thexev :

i bought a bass like three days ago and haven’t looked at any tutorials online yet, but today you tube had this on featured. creepy lol.

cool lesson dude. i’ll be watching these :)

BassLessonsOnline :

Yes, I can relate to the “advanced” vs “student” situation. I worked for many years (and still do) on trying to get the right ingredients for each lesson.

I believe we must have a system as well as adapting to each student’s learning style. Of course with the online “teaching” we only have our own “system” to work with :)

Bass of luck!
George

yhtomitalmighty :

Thanks for the videos. I’m actually an advance bass player. I use your videos to teach bass to a “student” of mine. He is actually just a little kid and it is so hard to teach because I am self-taught I don’t know where to start.
