Treebyter :
I decided to make the commitment to learn guitar and then was hit with the reality that I knew nothing about how to actually make music on one. In a few short days of watching Dave on these videos, I can make rudimentary music on the guitar and feel so much better. If possible more demonstration on fingering and hand position for us Noobs. Thanks a million.

bugmanchad :
Hey Guys,
I am on Day 6 since subscribing to your website. Caluses are starting to form, G, Cadd9 and D are becoming easier and I can do strum 2 pretty well now. Really enjoying the lessons and the process like no time in the past. This is at least the 5th time I have started working at learning how to play, but the first time I really believe that it is possible. I now have a strum pattern that sounds good, and cord transitions are getting smooth. Thanks so much!

@Shantb12345 to make it understanding for you, they are used to make solos, and they are the building blocks for chords. they make different chords depending on what key you’re in and what scale your using. you’ll understand what im talking about when you learn more guitar.
devpunk93 :
@candymiser Haha! Don’t we just love Youtube!

I have had lots of trouble learning guitar. This is very helpful. Thank you for taking time to do this and explain its value to music.
williamandfriendsinc :
They’re for building finger strength and endurance,
and if you’re writing music they might be helpful.
They’re extremely useful for blues music too,
this one particular.
fazel911 :
@Shantb12345 coz without the scales u cant solo thats how u solo if u learn the 5 positions of the penatonic scale u can solo from anywhere on the fretboard
