this is amazing. ive been playing guitar for years now and was never able to barre just because i was doing it wrong. however im still not sure if you barre on the fret bar or inside of the fret.

Very good teacher, just sad he play’s an electric guitar, these barchords are so hard to take on an acoustic… but ether way he’s good , but i heard you can lay electric guitarstrings on an acoustic so it plays easyer … hmmmm:-)

I’m learning bar aswell, but on acoustic:-D I think with acoustics you can really emprove your fingers strenght! And it’s really harder than electric guitar!!

Fucking bristolian accent. You lose all sense of credibility as a ‘cool’ musician once you open your mouth. The Mohawk and shades indoors just makes it worse. Still, great lesson

@chadtp Well, one piece of advise that I can perhaps give you is to practise the same basic chords like (A, G, C, Em, E) etc, in (bar chord form), that way your able to not only play the basic chord notes, but are able to learn how to use (bar chords) at the same time to strengthen your hand and fingers, it’s worked for me allot, and I think it should be able to help you as well, and the good part about it is, is that it will get you started on using (bar chords) more.

any advice to me? i got basic chords down vert well. but no matter what i do i cant seem to play these. i can’t even bar a fret, no matter how hard i push down. any advice, like excersizes i can do to strenghten my fingers
