Go to yourguitarsage.com to find out how to get a chart to this song and 100s of other songs!!! This guitar lesson vid shows you how to play The Freshmen, by The Verve Pipe. It shows you the chords, strumming technique and style. Check out yourguitarsage.com for info on my online instructional resources about charts, chords, strumming and the techniques that I use here in my videos.. For more guitar lessons, see my other free tutorials. For original and cover music by me, Erich, go to www.myspace.com . Since I’m so busy making new video tutuorial lessons all the time and teaching guitar, I probably won’t have time to answer individual questions regarding guitar. Other videos cover beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. I teach rock, blues, country and just about any other style on electric or acoustic. If you can’t find your answer from the resources at the website above, keep digging into my vids, and I’m sure you will find your answer. Keep practicing!!!

OriginallyMasked :
@Pandemonium44 i bought it at a pon-shop place thing :/ and a tuner? whats that? does it automaticly tune ur guitar???
Pandemonium44 :
@OriginallyMasked where did you buy it? they can tune it for you, might cost something but not too much. I tune mine using a tuner. That’s a good thing to get! good luck!
sepdxrealtor :

@yourguitarsage
I have the tutorial without the capo if anyone dosen’t have one.
wearethereveloution :
@slowhand633 lol are you implying that this guys not “a decent guitarist” beause in my oppinion hes an extrordinary guitarist.
cgl729 :
@slowhand633 youre right you dont need a capo, but he meant for the people that have a hard time i.e beginners/ intermediate level ppl. oh and all decent guitarists dont need to watch a how to video. they can just hear the tune and play and or read the music. and before you decide to get butt hurt and ask why im on here watching the video is because, im cheap and i dont want to buy the book. and im not an advanced player, yet. and i do NOT claim to be a Carlos Santana and or Jimmy Hendrix. lol
TeamshakeNbake :
@igunfuckedyourmom you can play this with positional chords it wouldn’t make a difference
yourguitarsage :
@slowhand633 Do you have all your bar chords down and are able to play them as quickly as open chords? IF so, then you can do all these chord with bar chords. Just use your first finger to replace the capo.
slowhand633 :
haha you don’t NEED capo man and all (decent) guitarists can play songs with out one
xRS20 :
do you have the chords and lyrics to this
queenforlife96 :
hello kind sir, i was quite curious to know if you finger pick it do you use the capo because i think i here open notes in the song
igunfuckedyourmom :
you do need one. thats how the song was written, and thats how its played
ajdunning63 :
cute version.
dejawhoop :
You don’t have to use a capo… Sounds great without one
cjmc95 :
dude i think you should make a shorter tut!
thibodeauxchris :
Pretty awesome. Though I originally learned it with a different chord progression with a capo on 2, this is pretty spectacular.
Dillago14 :
How are you playing the F chord
jesse9283 :
you should do something by modest mouse. except float on. theres too many videos on how to play that. OH! you should do i came as a rat, 3rd planet, or talking shit about a pretty sunset. PLEASE do one of those. youd be the coolest guy on youtube
guitarintroist :
taylor swift!!!!!!!!!!!
shelbycobra623 :
you should break down “Never Think” by Rob Pattinson.. its a tough song for people
cjllandelar16 :
