a chord is the 1st 3rd and 4th note in a scale.(i think…)

does that happen when u play the guitar for a long time? because i just started and my finger tips always get like the mark thing from a guitar string

@dfbane During the video, when you show the chords, they’re all on the same line on the staff. Are they always gonna be on the same line?

@MRItachiWarrior2 well, when you play chords, you play all the strings together. Different chords just means different fingerings, but you still play all the lines. Did I explain it?

Could someone please explain the chords bit better to me. Are they always on the same line? I googled it and I couldn’t understand anything from the answer…
