im sure hes using a boss RC 2 pedal. they are nice, i just bought one…about $150 online.

I agree. If your soloing lol then you should be alt picking too!

when I first started learning I only ever used alternate picking which was great in a way but now if I try to just down pick I really suffer, I firmly believe PRACTISE EVERYTHING even if you think it is not challenging you just do it anyway

one step at a time, you can’t think about too many things at once! of course you want to alternate your picking but sometimes you have to lay some ground work first.
