Two hand TAPPING is when you take your RIGHT hand, and put it on the fretboard. xD

@DreamOfWaking21 nope, you can definetely do this on a crappy guitar. i just tried it on an old guitar from Target and it still worked. but high output humbuckers and a bunch of gain really do help =D

anyone saying that how good a song sounds is extremely relient on the quality of the guitar is sadly mistaken. its how you use the guitar, by the time richie havens improvised freedom at woodstock his beater acoustic looked like firewood. If you listen to any reallllly classic old blues records going back to the late 20′s some of guitars used on the rec.s are homemade cigar box guitars. the better you know a guitar the better it sings

metallica solos had a lot of tapping on and justice for all album, or listen to the song ride the lightning or even phantom lord (its tapped at the same position as “one” in the first part)
