Expertvillage doesn’t teach anything. But sometimes they give good tips or techniques so far i see. But I PREFER__ guitarjamz..com(Marty Shwartz) lesson. He teaches anything!

rockandheavymetal :
For being an “expert who has been playing guitar and writing music for 15 years” his powerchords sound like shit.
And like somebody else said, get a new amp..
alexanderthewraith :
@stevanoviets
The pinky can be added as well for the additional octave. Real power chords have the next octave, but many people play it without it added. They are referred to as perfect fourths and perfect fifths. If you want to learn something USEFUL hit me up. You won’t learn shit from these wanna’ be “experts”. I’ll welcome any question.

This video didn’t help me at all my guitar doesn’t even sound lyk his
stevanoviets :
A Power Chord is played without the pinky… So put 1 finger on a fret and then do the math –> +1 string + 2 frets = Power Chord
deshawn972 :
do not call me dumb but do i pluck all 6 strings or just the ones i have my fingers on
hayd112233 :

Fantastic! thanks so much!
I played this after a couple hours of practice. My wife was very impressed. She’ll probably keep me for another 24 years as who can resist a guy and his guitar.
I’m going to put this on my ‘must practice list’ at least a couple minutes a day. I’m determined to get into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame before my 75th birthday…only 20 years to go.I’ll be sure to give you a big (deserved) thanks on stage when I give my speech.
Much appreciated from Canada
oreodontist :
Thanks. I’ve never really been into rock but your lesson opened up a bunch of new doors. You have a good way on concentrating on what I want to learn or have explained instead of ‘going over our heads’ as many lessons do.
Thanks and much, much appreciated!
coco4bee :
Lady, you rock
sticknNbookn :
This chick is awesome
gremboul :
I like your approach to teaching. Perhaps you can do a youtube piece on finger picking…or is there already one?
windsurf7772 :

benmcwilliam :
You’re probably doing a pull off.
SeymourStrange :
very nice tutorial, more like that please
calebaperrine :
try bending your fingers more =)
BazzTheBoss :
learn yourself, and use these lessons, pretty helpful
Allanfan20 :
omg, I keep trying to do this and everytime I pull my finger away, the d string makes a freaking annoying noise. I am sure it’s not the string itself b/c I play that alone and it sounds fine. Anyone got any suggestions?
Delilah4692 :
iiih
ow yeah
MonsterMozz :
Girls do it for me, but if mailbox123torkel prefers boys it’s his choice.. lmao.
ddubs123 :
They offer pretty cheap lessons at my community college. They might have something like that by you. I think you might just need to be in highschool to attend.
