This lesson helped me out alot. Thank you!! I just wish you guys were up here in new York so I could take lessons from you in person. And I know you are probably quite busy but I’d love it if ya looked at my videos and gave me some input of what I should try and work on. Thanks again. Keep rockin’ =D

although i’m sure your website has much more in-depth explanation

i respect what you guys are doing, and i do think you are great teachers..
but i really do believe that this is the wrong way for people to learn. i think its great for people that are happy just learning a few licks etc,
but its really hard for more serious players to see the “big picture” this seems to be the case with most online lessons,
this is only my opinion, and im not trying to say im right and you’re wrong
i just think all this is irrelevant without understanding how scales work etc.
mamtec :
Dave why can’t I get any of you you tube videos are you having technicial problems?
rockongoodpeople :
Hi – no the dorian mode has one interval difference than the aeolian or natural minor – dorian has a major 6th and natural minor has a b6
dorian – 1,2,b3,4,5,6,b7
aeolian- 1,2,b3,4,5,b6,b7
rock on!

mamtec :
thanks, this to me is a great pattern .
IndrekH2 :
@mamtec Nope it’s the shape from the Aeolian scale, Dorian is a little bit different, check it yourself.
mamtec :
dave ,, isin’t this the same as the Dorian mode ??
