Maybe I just didn’t jump to the correct place in the video, I was tuning my guitar to the key of C and was hoping you’d play the chord. I didn’t have my synth around to hear a C. I couldn’t find anywhere in the video that you actually play the chord.
theotakone :
At first it was difficult of course, but now C is like my favourite chord (though
that’s a bad thing to have in terms of song-composition, haha)
I kind of like the hand-shape of it – once you got the hang of it, it’s a comfy position – much more than G, let alone F
Justin’s explanation really helped, so thanks Justin
vandyboy25 :
I DID IT!!!!
JDPersuasion :
for different chords from a song,do i strum when playing the song or pick the strings one by one or depend on the song?
apple22jacks :
is there an easier way to play the “C” cord? like one where you dont have to push on the 5th string?….i was just wondering because this is my first week palying guitar and i cant stretch my fingers the far

Holy shit! It all finally clicked in my sad slow ass mind! I been at this guitar stuff 2 years on and off and in that time learned to play all open chords and a couple barre chords and some basic beginner songs but I never understood what my buddy (whos in a band) has been trying to tell me day after day! I come and search today and its exactly what hes been talking about!! U explained it way better and finally it makes so much sense! Thanks Dave and Rock on Good People!!!

Akyla0177 :
Hey- I have a serious question for you: I am left handed, so should I just suck it up and learn how to strum with my right hand (which is harder for me than strumming with left) or should I restring my guitar and strum with my left?… I feel like right handers are so much better because they strum with their dominant hand… Thanks…
PS you’re a really good teacher/ guitar player
