wow man thanx alot for this video/ i thought i wouldnt get it but after drawing it out and mapping out the notes i understand it/and ur triad video should be watche before this i suggest/the triad video helped me understand which scale it is:) thanx

Actually their is no error here
there are minor and major and dimished scales there/in this video he is show all the spots/if u new any thing about scales u would see the triads right away/u have to find the scales first dumb ass/and if u look at his other videos he shows u the triads/and they are in this vdeo as well so maybe watch all of his videos before judging

It is impossible to get a triad there. Even though those are notes (all 3 that were circled) you can not get 3 notes to make up the triad because 2 of the notes are on the same string…you can’t fret them both at the same time. A triad has to be built on at least 3 different strings, it’s physically impossible to fret 2 notes on the same string at the same time.

In defence of the Author, it’s simply an over-looked error on his side…he does a great job in explaining triads!

Yees. That was C, G and A i think..
C, E and G is the C major triad.

Not meaning to “nit pick”, but when you drew the perimeter around those three notes that for all practical purposes was not a triad.

it’s the 1st BIG piece of the puzzle in music that fits everything together that’s what this is hahaha and probably why you don’t understand it….music is all about shapes and formations and patience, the sound is just the reward you reap out of it…for taking the time to learn it all. hmm I didn’t understand it much but it helped me out cause I started playing random notes like on the e string which is the sixth string i was playing fret 1 and slided my finger down to 3 then to 1 then to 5 to 1 to 3 to 1 to 5 and atleast I’m learning something

I think learning the circle of fourths and fifths is useful, I also recommend learning the scale on one string like
R(root)-W-W-H-W-W-W-H on one string, H=half W=whole, Half=one fret, Whole=2 frets

It’s the C Major scale (all the natural notes with no sharps or flats) mapped out over the fretboard.
