daveygeorgetaylor :

very groovy and helpful video, thanks for posting

dyingforastrat :

wow that is pretty hard at first to get going

cast390 :

To those who want to know, the chord prog is a 3,6,2,5,1,or Bm7 E7 Am7 D7(hes playing D9 here) to Gmaj7.Your complaints are justified as this and ALL expert village vids are completely usless,

KindKeith :

I think it sounds even cooler when selecting the passing tone a half-step either above or below the root of the following chord, to pick the one that is a tri-tone (diminished 5th) away from the root of the first chord. This adds flavor for at least two reasons, one of which is simply that the tri-tone is a very flavorful interval . So on the first two chords, bm7 E7 rather than playing the notes B Eb E try playing B F E. Sounds way more hip.

yellowcolourteam :

That is really, really useful for people who know what he’s talking about.
Thanks, keep it up.

You are on your way to becoming a great teacher.

but

Slow down; slow down. Have patience.

nabrostoff :

At least hold your guitar straight so we can see what shapes you are making if your set on not explaining any of them by more than their names. Very frustrating.

“ago”

JazztrumpeterRocks :

could you please remove the subitles. i only just started guitar about a month age and it would really help to see the way you voice the chords

benroo89 :

it’s technically not the “up” beat that you’re doing, it’s the 3, because you’ve gone into a shuffle or 12/8. it’s a syncopated rhythm.

liquidhydronium :

Ok, you are right. Thanks!
