You must be bloody clueless about metal then. Nu-metal can be pretty much powerchords yes, but death/thrash/black metal is anything but ‘just powerchords’.
Actually any of the better metal bands will be infinitely more technical than bluegrass. Not to mention the solo’s… Come back when you can nail a solo from Chuck Schuldiner, or Marty Friedman.

good enough to play in a bluegrass band in eight months?nice try,lol.if youd have said metal or punk band i’d have believed you.you can do that with just power chords.but bluegrass is some speedy hard stuff to grasp.

Your’e right. I am now a guitar God to my husband and son for the “light saber thing”. I love your videos and attitude. I want to thank-you for teaching me guitar. I knew NOTHING 8 months ago, oh boy did I suck! Do you remember how impossible it was to move from G to C??? I thought my hand was retarded. You taught me the basic chords,songs, strumming patterns, blues, bar chords, power chords, scales, licks, pick-ups…… I can now play the guitar! I even play in a bluegrass band.
