umm, isnt it the other way around… like the 6th string is the top string and 5th string on the 2 to top and so forth?

another way to learn how to remeber ur strings is
Easter
Bunny
Gets
Drunk
At
Easter

it doesn’t make sure which way you strum it. People normally start out by strumming down though.

Your guitar might not sound like mine because…

1. It’s a classical
2. It’s not tuned right
3. Maybe your fingers aren’t placed correctly.

Those are my guesses
