i can play bar chords just fine except i some times mess up because the frets get smaller going down the fret board so your shape has to change a little you have to bring your fingers closer together but the thing i dont like about bar chords is if i play them to much my wrist starts to hurt does anyone else wrist hurt from playing bar chords for a long period of time

He didn’t say there was an advantage to having a high action, he said if your action is high you would be better getting it lowered to make barre chords easier. High action is good for slide guitar but not much else
