i play it on the 12 and 14 but i do what he does at the end but on my preferred strings. in my opinion it sounds better

You can play it on the 7th fret (A string) or 12th fret (E string), it´’s the excact same note, the 7th fret one’s just an octave higher. The ending of the riff is wrong though. You should play the last note on the A string.

im pretty sure you have the last note of the riff wrong and its actually an F# (fifth string, ninth fret), ur playing a B instead..
but i could be wrong
