i think there’s a similar sounding effect on wake up where tom does those bends near the start and just before the quiet “counter-intelligence” part. that might be what this geezer is on about. don’t recognise it on any other song though. not off the top of my head anyway.

this seems like a really cool cheat tremolo effect though. i think it could be interesting in some maiden songs personally. the main riff of wasted years would be good with this.

you guys are right. tom doesnt do this. one of the coolest whammy bar things that tom morello does is at the end of the solo in “Know Your Enemy” but he doesnt even do anything close to this.
