I’ve been playing a long time, and sometimes, we forget simple concepts like this. Well, done.

AWESOME! dis bloody song gets me straight to cloud nine.. Cant stop listening to this album, downloaded it @ DownloadMusic/./im , (remove the slashes) keepin listening to it wherever i go
stormtimedoor1138 :
theres no chord that has been nicknamed the zeppelin chord to my knowledge, but Page from Led Zeppelin loved working with these same ideas that Marty teaches here, and you can hear it in a whole bunch of their songs. The outro to the video is very reminicent of their song Bron-y-ur for example, and the d-shape chords are used at a part of over the hills and far away. ramble on’s another good example of this concept. experiment and see what sounds good! hope that helps.
stephmc111 :

002frunzi :

laurabh14 :
hey marty. i’m a beginner and i would really love to learn Simple Man by Lynard Skynard. can you help me out? i really like how you go through the steps, one by one.
kalolord :
not always…in the D chord you have to strum 4 strings, E 6 strings, G 6 strings, C 5 strings etc.
kaleluk31 :
im a beginner, to play a chord, you hold down a chord on the neck but strum all the strings?
txxtreme :
The very first words out of Marty’s mouth are “this is a very cool chord concept I learned when first starting to play guitar”. This is a lesson based at beginner’s. If you had actually listened to that, it would be a signal to an expert, like yourself, to move on to a more advanced lesson, which Marty diffinately has. He is a consumate professional, not a beginner as you have stated. By the way, please tell us which string, or strings, are out of tune.
AnnaBellaExtacy :
i totally agree…..
but not about him being a beginner.
check out his other vids, or his site. he’s pretty decent
Greenduckman1 :
awesome
St33zyC :
lmao i just heard that than decided to see if anyone else caught it that way hah
