kinated00r :

kirk does at the very end of creeping death …

MCsparkyD99 :

SoDaPoPbMx :

What kinda guitar and amp it sounds beautiful

CaptinCabbage27 :

isn’t that just G mixylodian?

einsteinian :

I agree when I play extremely fast I need a flexible pick that will give slightly to extreme speed picking, but when I want to squeel or pinch harmonic or even manhandle the strings, I absolutely need a small very firm pick like a jazz III, and when I strum chords I again want a thin pick. So literally what I will be playing somewhat dictates what pick I pick.

Sonicdreamcast :

For some reason, and I don’t know why, I sound best and “heaviest” (I’m a death metal/punk/thrash/metal guitarist) when using an orange .63 Dunlop pick, or the yellow .70 Dunlop pick. I just sound best with medium thickness picks.

operoperoper1234 :

he shakes the guitar seriously when he is doing his vibrato

XD

TheFatPandaShow :

thx for the vid i just starting playing XD

LupiPereira1 :

the second scale you played really looked like the sweet child solo in the fast part…

hmongcanadian :

is that a Gibson LP? How do you get it to sound so good? What amp and pedal are you using?

banrnon :

heah D

lazyboy369 :

the way he says “D” is awesome lol

realbluemeanie :

Its just a personal choise for each player…. Lighter gauge picks are more useful in strumming chords as the sound of a lighter pick is thinner and less over powering, however, trying to use a flimsy pick will make lead playing less powerful in sound…. use what you are comfortable with and find your own perfect pick!

AmineTommylee :

the last one is an oriental-arabic gear,
really interesting in metal

brahmabull84 :

LOL excellent

chodyglen :

often people prefer using a pick like a thin to strum on acoustic since it flexes more, and using a stiffer one like a medium to play electric

RangerN00b :

around 3:00 the scale he is showing is the end of the first solo of ‘Fade to Black’ by Metallica, but Metallica’s is in A. little fact for everyone.

lordakamai :

It’s all about what you like best but i personally prefer pretty thin picks when strumming chords and stuff on acoustic

GuitarRock08 :

That bend is in the Sweet Child of Mine solo intro.

saadileo88 :

NO…generally harder picks are preferred for electrics

oskarposkarr :

hahhah 0:23 ahahha funny , and good lesion!
